Officially Unveiled: BYD Establishes Factory in Thailand, Poised to Produce 150,000 Vehicles Annually in Rayong

BYD has officially announced the opening of a car manufacturing plant in Thailand. The facility, located in the Debut DH Industrial Estate in Rayong province, spans an impressive 948,000 square meters and has a production capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year. The plant will focus on producing the Dolphin, Atto 3, Seal, and Sealion 6 car models.

The company plans to utilize this plant as a hub for manufacturing right-hand drive vehicles, targeting both the domestic Thai market and exports to other ASEAN countries. At the plant’s inauguration, BYD showcased the 8 millionth new energy vehicle, produced in Thailand.
