Apple has released the 2nd generation of the AirPods Pro, making a switch from using the Lightning port to USB-C. This means that Apple users can now use the entire set without the need for a Lightning cable, even if they have upgraded to the iPhone 15 or any other updated Apple products.
In addition to the case, the headphones themselves have also undergone some changes. They now have an IP54 dust resistance rating and have added the feature of sending lossless audio data when used with Apple Vision Pro.
The AirPods Pro 2nd gen will officially be available for purchase on September 22nd. The wired version of the headphones will also switch to USB-C.
