Hideki Yasuda, an analyst from Toyo Securities, was interviewed by Bloomberg and predicted that Palworld could potentially sell up to 30 million copies in the long run. This estimation is based on the game’s popularity and positive feedback from players.

Yasuda believes that the success of Palworld should be studied and understood by major game companies in order to grasp the changing demands of players. He points out that Palworld combines the best features of various games and incorporates its own unique elements. In this case, it combines the popular monster-catching gameplay from Japanese anime-style games with the character design elements reminiscent of Fortnite.

Recent statistics reveal that Palworld has amassed a total of 19 million players, with 12 million copies sold on Steam and another 7 million players on the Xbox platform (including Game Pass).

When compared to other blockbuster games of the past, which have sold around 30 million copies, such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Diablo III, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, New Super Mario Bros. (DS), and New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

TLDR: Palworld, a game that combines the best elements of various popular games, has the potential to sell up to 30 million copies in the long term.
