Android Authority website reveals leaked information about the Google Pixel 8a, a budget-friendly model from Google expected to be unveiled at the Google I/O event in May 2024.
The 6.1″ display is on par with the Pixel 7a but with a refresh rate bumped up from 90Hz to 120Hz and increased brightness from 1,000 nit to 1,400 nit (matching the Pixel 8).
Powered by the Tensor G3 processor, similar to the Pixel 8, but with a cost-effective chip package to reduce expenses.
Supports external display output (DisplayPort output) just like the Pixel 8.
Utilizes the same camera sensor set as the Pixel 7a (Sony IMX787/IMX712/IMX712) without any changes.
Expanding sales to an additional 10 countries, all within the Eastern European region.
