PlayStation makes triumphant return to the booth at Tokyo Game Show 2024 after a hiatus since the final appearance in 2019

Sony Interactive Entertainment, the parent company of PlayStation, has confirmed its participation in the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2024 at the end of September this year. This marks their return to the TGS booth since their last appearance in 2019.

It is currently unclear which games Sony will showcase at the event, as the company announced that there will be no major first-party game releases this fiscal year. Instead, the focus will be on third-party games.

Sony will be the sole console manufacturer to have a booth at TGS this year, as Nintendo and Xbox will not be present (Xbox was present last year but is notably absent this year without explanation).

In addition to Sony, there will be various Thai game companies with booths at TGS 2024, such as Arcadia, Peakware Studio, URNIQUE STUDIO, Nomadic Game, Revolution Industry, Secret Character, and a central booth from the Department of Intellectual Property (DITP) under the Ministry of Commerce – full list of booths.

TLDR: Sony Interactive Entertainment will participate in Tokyo Game Show 2024 with a focus on third-party games, alongside various Thai game companies showcasing their work.
