Polestar Electric Vehicle Announces Market Entry into Thailand in 2025

Polestar, the electric car company under the Volvo group (with Geely as its owner), has announced plans to expand its market presence to 7 more countries by 2025, including Thailand.

The countries where Polestar will establish its market presence this time around include France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Brazil, and Thailand. Specific details are yet to be revealed, with only a timeframe of 2025 provided.

As a purely electric car company, Polestar does not produce any oil-based products. The company leverages technology from Volvo and utilizes Geely’s manufacturing facilities both in China and abroad.

Currently, Polestar has introduced 5 electric car models, excluding the discontinued Polestar 1:

– Polestar 2, a compact executive car introduced in 2019
– Polestar 3, a mid-size SUV unveiled in 2022
– Polestar 4, a hybrid SUV coupe set to be launched in 2024
– Polestar 5, a GT 4-door car already debuted but not yet on sale, slated for a 2025 release
– Polestar 6, a sports roadster revealed but not yet on sale, expected to hit the market in 2026
