Prep for Direct Sharing: Nintendo Switch Set to Disable Photo/Video Capture Function

Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch will no longer be able to directly share pictures or videos to X starting from June 10, 2024 onwards. The reason for this decision has not been disclosed by Nintendo, but looking at previous cases where Xbox and PlayStation also disabled posting to X after an API price increase, it seems to be a common trend. This issue seems to be significant as X Gaming’s account has posted about it, suggesting Switch players to download content to their smartphones and share it from there instead. They also mentioned that the cooperation between the two companies remains positive.

TLDR: Nintendo Switch will no longer be able to share content directly to X after June 10, 2024. Reason not disclosed, but similar actions seen with Xbox and PlayStation. Switch players advised to download content to smartphones for sharing. Cooperation between companies remains positive.
