Arm’s revenue comes from two business segments, namely the licensing business and others. The licensing business saw an 18% increase, amounting to $354 million. This growth can be attributed to the increased adoption of Arm’s architecture in AI applications and royalties generated from smartphone sales, which reached $470 million, a notable 11% increase. Arm attributes this growth to the recovery of the smartphone market and the increased usage of Armv9.
In the past quarter, Arm delivered a total of 7.7 billion devices utilizing its chip architecture.
