Sony has announced the launch of the portable gaming device PlayStation Portal that now supports cloud gaming. Previously, players could only stream games from their own PS5 console.
Certainly, those wanting to play games through the cloud must have a PlayStation Plus Premium membership that supports cloud gaming on the PS5 console (unfortunately not yet available for players in Thailand). Currently, approximately 150 games are supported, with a streaming quality of up to 1080p/60fps, requiring a minimum internet speed of 7 Mbps for 720p quality and 13 Mbps for 1080p.
The Cloud Streaming feature is currently in Beta status and lacks several features such as voice chat systems for some games, streaming games purchased on the PS Store, game trials before purchase, playing PS3/PS4 games through the cloud, and more.
