Quarterly Arm Performance Report: Total Revenue Surges by 47% from Royalties and AI Demands

Arm reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2024, with a total revenue of 928 million dollars, representing a 47% increase from the same quarter in the previous year. The revenue from royalties reached a new record high, while revenue from sales licenses continued to grow significantly. As a result, the company achieved a profit of 224 million dollars.

Revenue from royalties increased by 37% to 514 million dollars, driven by the increased usage of Armv9 architecture, which commands higher royalty rates. Meanwhile, the sales licensing business grew by 60% to 414 million dollars, reflecting the growing demand for Arm technology in developing AI devices.

In the past quarter, a total of 7.0 billion devices using Arm architecture were shipped.
