Quarterly Performance Report: Intel’s Revenue in Line with Previous Year, Increased Losses Detected.

Intel’s first quarter report for 2025 shows a total revenue of $12,667 million, which is similar to the same quarter in the previous year, but with a higher net loss of $887 million. Lip-Bu Tan, the new CEO of Intel who assumed the position in March, stated that the performance is a pivotal step in guiding the company in the right direction, emphasizing the need for strategic market expansion and sustainable growth. The company aims to enhance efficiency, drive innovation in product development, and maintain a leading position in engineering.

The revenue from Intel’s product business group decreased by 3% to $11,755 million, with the Client group experiencing an 8% decline and the Data Center group seeing an 8% increase. Operating profit from this segment was $2,936 million. The Intel Foundry chip manufacturing business generated revenue of $4,667 million but incurred a loss of $2,320 million.
