Tesla has announced a recall of all 3,878 Cybertruck trucks produced after discovering an issue with the accelerator pedal sticking. The recall was initiated through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), citing a problem with the pad on the accelerator pedal potentially getting caught on the interior of the vehicle above it, leading to accelerator sticking.
The company stated that they first received reports of the issue from customers on March 31st and April 3rd, and after engineers investigated and confirmed the problem, they decided to announce a free repair program for owners to address the issue at their discretion.
