Release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for PS4 and Xbox One on September 17, 2024.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a game by EA/Respawn, has been on the market since April 2023, receiving positive feedback and sales numbers. However, it may have slipped the minds of many that the game was initially released on the previous generation consoles, namely PS4 and Xbox One.

Recently, EA announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to launch on PS4 and Xbox One on September 17, 2024, priced at $49.99. Despite the one-and-a-half-year delay from the release on PC and next-gen consoles, the game is finally making its way to the older platforms.

EA has stated that the game has been optimized to run efficiently on outdated hardware, with technical enhancements and bug fixes available. Additionally, a PC version update is in the works to further enhance performance.

The Star Wars Jedi series has also confirmed the development of a third installment, despite the departure of the director of the first two parts, Stig Asmussen, who has since founded his own company, Giant Skull.

TLDR: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 17, 2024, with optimizations for older hardware and updates for PC version. The series is also continuing with a third installment in the works.
