Epic Games has announced the progress of developing the Epic Games Store on iOS for users in the European region. This comes after the company revealed their plans back in January, following Apple’s adjustment of platform terms allowing users to download apps from stores other than the App Store.
According to Epic, they have submitted the Epic Games Store along with the game Fortnite for Apple’s app review process, which has been completed successfully. Once Apple approves the Epic Games Store and Fortnite, they will be available for download on iOS exclusively in Europe in the coming months, with Epic expecting this process to take a few more months.
Additionally, Epic has confirmed their previous statement about bringing games to other stores on all platforms within this year, including Android.
