Doug Cockle, the voice actor for Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher video game series, is returning to voice a new project in the CD Projekt’s Witcher universe. Although it’s not specified which project he’s returning for, CD Projekt currently has three projects in the works: Polaris, Sirius, and Canis Majoris (The Witcher Remake).

In an interview with IGN, Doug Cockle expressed his desire to continue voicing Geralt until he can no longer do so. He mentioned that voicing this character has become a part of him, and he genuinely loves his work. However, he made it clear that he doesn’t know the specific details about the upcoming projects because he’s more like a satellite orbiting around CD Projekt’s operations.

Doug is especially excited about The Witcher Remake because if we look back to when he first voiced Geralt in 2005, it’s been almost 20 years. Technology has advanced significantly since then, and he can’t contain his excitement about the graphics of Unreal Engine 5, the engine the development team is currently utilizing.

While there aren’t many details available yet about the new game within The Witcher universe, it has been confirmed that it will be developed using Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, it has been revealed that there will be both The Witcher Remake (Canis Majoris) and a new trilogy where Geralt will not be the main protagonist (Polaris).

While specific details about the projects are unknown, the upcoming game will use Unreal Engine 5 and include The Witcher Remake (Canis Majoris) and a new trilogy without Geralt as the main protagonist (Polaris).
