Resident Evil 9 Speculated to Hit Shelves in January 2025

Information from Dusk Golem, a reputable game leaker from Capcom, suggests that Resident Evil 9 may be announced soon, with a possible release in early 2025 or even as soon as this January.

Furthermore, Dusk Golem indicates that the game has been in development since 2018, originally intended to be a separate installment from Resident Evil Village but ultimately becoming the main entry in the series. Resident Evil 9 is said to have the highest budget and development time in the franchise.

Prior reports have hinted at Capcom incorporating Open World game design expertise from Dragon’s Dogma 2 into their upcoming projects, including Monster Hunter Wild, already released, and the upcoming Resident Evil 9.
