The character Kiryu is portrayed by Ryoma Takeuchi, known for his work in Kamen Rider Drive and various other Japanese TV series. The Like a Dragon game series currently has a total of 8 main installments, with the latest being Infinite Wealth released in early 2024 to critical acclaim and high sales. The studio Sega is also preparing to announce a new game (not the 9th installment, but a separate one) at the Tokyo Game Show in September 2024.
