X has not disclosed any numbers after Musk’s recent acquisition, but The Financial Times has reported that in the past quarter, X had 251 million daily active users (DAUs), a modest increase of 1.6% compared to the same quarter last year.
Historically, DAU growth prior to Musk’s ownership typically hovered around 2 digits, approximately 15% each quarter. The only exception was in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, where growth skyrocketed to 35%.
