Square Enix has announced the remastered version of the game Romancing SaGa 2, originally released in 1993 on the Super Famicom, under the new title Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC (Xbox excluded). The game is set to be released on October 24, 2024.
Romancing SaGa 2 stands out as the best-selling game in the Romancing SaGa series of three installments, originally targeted only at the Japanese market. In Romancing SaGa 2, players take on the role of the Emperor of the Varennes Empire, passing on their position and special powers through generations to wage war against a group of former heroes turned villains known as the Seven Heroes. It’s a multi-generational battle against formidable foes.
