Revolutionary Data Migration Cancellation Feature Unveiled by Microsoft Azure, Matching Google Cloud and AWS Platforms.

Microsoft Azure is a major cloud service provider that recently announced the elimination of data transfer out fees (also known as egress fees) when customers stop using Azure services entirely.

Azure offers a complimentary 100GB data transfer out quota per month to all customers. However, if there is a need to transfer a larger volume of data, customers can contact Azure Support to request credits for data transfer. Customers have a 60-day window to complete the data transfer process.

Azure’s policy aligns with Google Cloud and AWS, both of whom previously made similar announcements. This means that all three major cloud service providers have now waived data transfer out fees, giving customers more freedom to switch cloud providers.

TLDR: Microsoft Azure has eliminated data transfer out fees for customers who stop using their services, aligning with similar moves by Google Cloud and AWS to increase customer flexibility in choosing cloud providers.
