Revolutionary Launch: Red Hat Unveils RHEL AI with Comprehensive Suite of Open Source Tools for Long-term Support in RHEL

Red Hat has unveiled the RHEL AI platform tailored for organizations seeking to train generative AI models, customize, or run models. The format is an image of RHEL with pre-installed tools and will be supported by Red Hat.

Included tools are IBM’s own Granite model, InstructLab’s chatbot development toolkit, and libraries for running various AI models such as PyTorch.

Customers can purchase licenses on Red Hat’s portal to run the image on their servers. This image can be used on AWS and IBM Cloud, with support for Azure and Google Cloud expected to be available by the end of the year.
