Revolutionary Microsoft Teams Launches Unprecedented Town Halls Feature: Assembling Grand Conferences with an Astonishing Audience of 20,000 Individuals

Microsoft has introduced a new feature called Town Halls to Microsoft Teams, replacing the previous Teams Live Events feature, which will be discontinued in September 2024.

Town Halls support large-scale meetings, accommodating up to 20,000 participants who can join and listen simultaneously. It also allows for up to 50 parallel events and offers a maximum live streaming duration of 30 hours.

Furthermore, several other features have been developed to support comprehensive large-scale meetings. These include the Green Room, where speakers can prepare with organizers before speaking, a Q&A system for interactive exchanges, video recording capabilities, communication to notify attendees about upcoming events via email, and a statistics and audience analysis system.

Town Halls will be available starting from October 5, 2023.
