Revolutionary Travel Payment Solution PAY&TOUR Unveiled by KBANK, Empowering Tourists to Transact via QR Code

Kasikornbank collaborates with TAGTHAi and TAT to introduce PAY&TOUR service, allowing foreigners to easily make payments through PromptPay QR.

The PAY&TOUR service is a prepaid card that can be applied for at Kasikornbank’s currency exchange booths, with plans to expand to 100 locations. Travelers can then link the card to the TAGTHAi app for additional scan-to-pay convenience.

Foreigners over 20 years old can apply for the PAY&TOUR card, with transaction limits set at 100,000 baht and daily cash withdrawals capped at 10,000 baht. The card, a VISA, can be used with EDC machines, but its main benefit lies in linking it to the app for PromptPay QR payments at retail stores. The card expires after one year of use.

This service has been in trial since 2024 and officially launched this year.
