Previously, Google representatives mentioned that Gemini gathers data from various websites that disclose these figures. However, in the edited video, Michele Wyman, a Google representative, clarified that they consulted the owner of Wisconsin Cheese Mart featured in the ad on the preferred approach. The owner suggested commissioning Gemini to rewrite the product details without detailing consumption share percentages, resulting in the revised ad we see now.
