Revolutionized Mac Studio Unveils M4 Max and M3 Ultra: The Most Powerful Macs Yet

Apple has updated the Mac Studio with two new sub-models, the M4 Max and the M3 Ultra, in line with previous rumors. The M4 Max chip, previously seen in the MacBook Pro, boasts a high-performance CPU with 16 cores and a GPU with 40 cores, as well as a maximum RAM capacity of 128GB.

On the other hand, the M3 Ultra chip, a new addition, is claimed by Apple to be almost twice as fast as the M4 Max in workloads that require high CPU and GPU usage. It features a maximum of 32 CPU cores, 80 GPU cores, and an additional 32-core Neural Engine for AI tasks. The RAM is customizable, with up to 512GB, and storage options go up to 16TB, allowing for over 12 hours of 8K ProRes video storage.

The Mac Studio has also been upgraded to support Thunderbolt 5 ports, with 4 ports on the M4 Max model and 6 ports on the M3 Ultra model. Users can connect up to 8 Pro Display XDR monitors with a maximum resolution of 6K.

The new Mac Studio starts at 69,900 Baht, with the fully specced M3 Ultra model, featuring 80 CPU cores and 512GB/16TB storage, priced at 493,400 Baht. The release date for the products in Thailand is yet to be announced.

TLDR: Apple introduces the new Mac Studio with M4 Max and M3 Ultra chips, offering high-performance CPU and GPU capabilities, customizable RAM, and storage options, along with Thunderbolt 5 support and compatibility with multiple Pro Display XDR monitors. Prices start at 69,900 Baht.
