Rumor: iPhone 17 Models to Feature Apple-Designed Wi-Fi Chips, Replacing Broadcom’s Across the Board

After the curtain has fallen on the unveiling of the iPhone 16e, rumors and speculations surrounding Apple are now swirling around the upcoming iPhone 17. This intel comes from the seasoned supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who delves into the Wi-Fi chip in the iPhone 17.

Kuo reveals that industry whispers suggest that all models of the iPhone 17 will transition to using Apple-designed Wi-Fi chips exclusively. This move aims to reduce reliance on Broadcom chips, not only cutting costs for Apple but also enhancing connectivity capabilities within Apple devices.
