Samsung is reportedly developing a Tri-Fold smartphone after rumors circulated. Recently, Samsung hinted at a Multi-Fold smartphone during the Unpacked event, although no specifics were given.
According to reports, Samsung will use the name Galaxy G Fold for the 3-fold screen smartphone, with a larger 10-inch display when unfolded, surpassing the Z Fold 6 with a 7.6-inch screen and Z Flip 6 with a 6.7-inch screen.
While not the first brand to produce a 3-fold smartphone, if the Galaxy G Fold becomes a reality, it will be the first 3-fold smartphone to enter the market outside of China, as Huawei’s Mate XT Ultimate is only available in China.
Typically, Samsung announces the launch of new foldable smartphones around July. Macrumors predicts that we may see Samsung’s 3-fold screen smartphone debut this year.
