Rumors: Apple Set to Unveil 6-Inch Intelligent Display for Smart Home Control in March – Featuring Video Call Capability

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, previously reported additional details on Apple’s upcoming smart home device, formerly known as HomePod, with a screen. It is expected that Apple will launch this product as early as March next year.

Gurman’s information revealed that the screen measures 6 inches and can be wall-mounted to control smart home devices, as well as support video calls. The device operates on battery, integrates with Siri and Apple Intelligence for voice commands. He mentioned that the design will be similar to the Amazon Echo Hub but will require an iPhone for initial setup.

This smart display device can be installed in various ways besides the wall, such as placing it on a stand with built-in speakers. Additionally, it includes a proximity sensor to adjust its functionality based on the user’s distance. Color options include silver and black. Furthermore, Apple is also developing a robotic arm version that can move according to the user’s needs.
