Rumors Swirl: Apple’s Vision of Siri Feature and the Might of Apple Intelligence Await Total Revamp

Mark Gurman, the esteemed individual from Bloomberg, has uncovered the intricate details of Apple’s announcement regarding the revamping of Siri through Apple Intelligence.

High-level executives, including Craig Federighi, have raised questions about the feasibility of Siri after encountering issues themselves. Some within the Apple AI team believe that these features may need to be completely overhauled, necessitating a wait for the next major version of Siri set to debut in 2026. This means that users may not truly experience these changes until 2027, as reported earlier.

This year’s WWDC will not showcase any further advancements in AI, focusing instead on integrating Apple Intelligence with other apps or services.

Internally, employees at Apple believe that without Tim Cook or the board taking action, the company may fall behind in the AI space. In January 2025, Apple brought in Kim Vorrath, a software executive, to help lead the AI division.

TLDR: Apple is potentially rebuilding Siri from scratch to incorporate Apple Intelligence features, pushing the release into 2026 with a full user experience expected in 2027. The company is focusing on AI integration rather than showcasing new AI capabilities at this year’s WWDC.
