The undisclosed sources to Reuters revealed that ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, is planning to train artificial intelligence models using the Huawei Ascend 910B chip, further diversifying the risk of acquiring NVIDIA chips.

One of the challenges faced is the subpar delivery rate of the Ascend 910B. ByteDance had ordered over a hundred thousand chips but only received thirty thousand sets.
