Rumors swirl as Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 set to debut with One UI 8 (Android 16) emerging.

SamMobile, the Samsung news website, reports that Samsung is gearing up to upgrade from One UI 7 after a delay of several months. The company is set to release the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, the foldable phones of the year, along with the new One UI 8 based on Android 16.

It is evident that a key factor that enabled Samsung to achieve this is Google’s adjustment to the release of Android 16, which is now scheduled for Quarter 2 instead of Quarter 3. This gives Samsung the opportunity to wait for the stable version of Android 16 and integrate it into their own One UI 8.
