The news of ASUS is not entirely surprising, as they have previously pioneered the ROG Ally portable gaming device. According to Windows Central, this gaming device will have 2 sub-SKUs, running on the Windows operating system instead of Xbox. Microsoft will customize the interface to closely resemble Xbox. The advantage of Windows is the ability to install other stores such as Steam, Epic, and GOG.
