Safeguarding Our Planet – iPhone 16 Opts Out of Including Apple Logo Stickers in the Box

9to5Mac reported that Apple informed Apple Store employees that the iPhone 16 will no longer come with Apple logo stickers in the box, with the exception being if customers specifically request them, in which case the store will have them available.

However, the message from Apple to employees states that the conditions for providing stickers state that customers must specify this requirement at the time of purchase. iPhones sold through resellers and mobile phone networks will not come with stickers in any case.

This development aligns with Apple’s environmental goals, aiming for the company to be carbon neutral by 2030 and looking to eliminate plastic packaging materials in the upcoming year.

The decision to stop including Apple stickers has been seen before with the Apple Vision Pro, iPad Pro, and iPad Air new models, none of which included stickers in the box.

TLDR: Apple will no longer include Apple logo stickers in the box with the iPhone 16, unless customers request them specifically. This move is in line with Apple’s environmental initiatives.
