CD Projekt has revealed that total sales of Cyberpunk 2077 have surpassed 30 million copies, up from 25 million in October 2023. The Phantom Liberty expansion sold 8 million copies, an increase from 5 million in January 2024.
Additionally, Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to release on Mac in early 2025. The company has confirmed that they are actively working on a sequel (codenamed Orion) and have a new animation project in collaboration with Netflix following the success of the Edgerunners series.
In other game project news, Project Polaris or The Witcher 4 is currently in full development mode with a team of 400 developers, considered the company’s main game project. Meanwhile, Project Sirius, a separate installment of The Witcher, has a team of 42 developers.
