Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, a game that was once cryptically labeled as a “bestseller” without revealing numbers, has finally disclosed its sales figures. Since its release on September 9th, it has sold a whopping 4.5 million copies in just one month.
Developed by Saber Interactive, the studio whose original founders recently regained control from Embracer Group earlier this year, under the leadership of Tim Willits, the creative head of the studio. Willits, known for his work with id Software, revealed that the development costs for Space Marine 2 were significantly lower than Doom Eternal, hinting at substantial profits for Saber Interactive. This success has prompted the team to already begin working on a follow-up installment.
