Salesforce unveils investment plan in Singapore with a billion-dollar pledge over a 5-year period focusing on advancing AI capabilities.

Salesforce has announced its intention to invest in Singapore with a staggering $1 billion over the next 5 years. This investment will focus on research and development in AI, as well as enhancing workforce skills in key industries and government agencies in Singapore.

Jermaine Loy, director of Singapore’s Economic Development Board, stated that Salesforce’s investment will position Singapore as a hub for AI and increase the utilization of AI across various sectors of the economy.

Notably, Singapore Airlines, a key client of Salesforce, has implemented Agentforce, an AI assistant system, and has now adopted Salesforce’s Generative AI solution to support over 250 Use Cases.
