Samsung introduces the pioneering Color E-Paper TV, the first television to utilize e-paper technology, focusing on advertising applications.

At InfoComm 2024, happening from June 8-14 in Las Vegas, USA, Samsung has unveiled the Color E-Paper TV, the first TV from Samsung to utilize e-paper technology, focusing on advertisement or signage display due to e-paper’s energy efficiency as it only consumes power when changing images.

The specs of the Color E-Paper TV (model EDMX) include a 32-inch screen, 17.9mm thickness, weighing 2.9 kilograms (excluding battery), QHD resolution with 60,000 colors, 8GB storage, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, USB-C charging (2 ports), interchangeable Samsung The Frame bezels, and VESA standard 200 x 200 mounting holes.

Samsung plans to sell this TV with a mobile app for image ordering and TV apps, along with remote control via Samsung VTX solution for long-distance control.
