Microsoft has announced that the new version of Microsoft Teams allows users to log in and switch between organizational and personal accounts within the same app. The general update is now available to users on Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac after being in preview earlier this year. Users can either wait for automatic updates or manually request updates through the Microsoft Store.
For multi-account usage, simply add the desired account at the top right corner to easily switch between accounts. This new feature supports switching between personal and organizational accounts (Work, Education). Teams that are logged into multiple accounts will display a window before joining a meeting, allowing users to choose which account to use. If the meeting permits joining without using a Teams account, users can select that option as well.
