Jon Prosser, the YouTube content creator of the fpt channel, is known for regularly leaking images of new products. Most recently, he revealed additional details about iOS 19, the operating system for the upcoming iPhone that Apple will unveil at the WWDC event in June.
Previously, Prosser presented a simulation video based on the beta version of iOS 19 that he had seen. At that time, the highlight was the design inspired by visionOS, the operating system of Vision Pro, and the circular home icons. Prosser mentioned that iOS 19 has a design concept called Glassy, where objects appear three-dimensionally floating and translucent.
The layout Prosser introduced features various elements, such as menus, keyboards, and notifications, with more rounded shapes and subtle transparency. However, he also noted that the home screen may not use circular icons as previously mentioned.
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg commented on Prosser’s clip, stating that the images presented do not align with the actual iOS 19 that will be released. Most of it resembles the old beta version, which has undergone several changes.
