Square Enix to Release Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster and Classic Mana Games on Xbox Platform

Microsof’s plan to pull in J-RPG game enthusiasts is making strides forward. The latest announcement from Microsoft at the Tokyo Game Show 2024, in collaboration with Square Enix, includes:

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, a compilation of the popular titles from parts 1 to 6, which debuted in 2021 and is now available on every platform except for Xbox (even Amazon Fire OS supports it, but not Xbox). It has now been released on Xbox Series X|S (check out the Xbox Store website).

The Mana series game, known as Seiken Densetsu in Japan, is now available on Xbox and can be played on Game Pass for both the Xbox and PC versions.

Trials of Mana, a remake of Seiken Densetsu 3 released in 2020 and available on PC and consoles, but not on Xbox.
Legend of Mana, the 4th installment of the series, has been remastered in 2021 and is now available on all platforms except for Xbox.
After the fallout from the exclusivity deal with Epic Games Store, Square Enix has announced a shift towards more multi-platform games, explicitly stating an increase in Xbox releases. While there is no news yet on FF7 Remake, FF7 Rebirth, or Xbox versions of FF16.
