Star Wars Jedi: Episode 3 Confirmed as EA Takes the Helm Despite Director’s Departure

Cameron Monaghan, the voice actor for the character Cal Kestis in the Star Wars Jedi game series, has confirmed in an interview that he is currently providing his voice for the third installment. This serves as the first official confirmation that Star Wars Jedi Part 3 is indeed in the works (although it is widely known that EA is behind it).

The third installment of Star Wars Jedi also raises questions about Stig Asmussen, the director of the first two games (Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor), as he recently departed from Respawn Entertainment. It is currently unclear who will step in as the director for Part 3, as EA has only announced that they will promote a manager from Respawn to fill the position.

Both Star Wars Jedi games have been highly successful in terms of both revenue and reviews. The first game received an average review score of 81/100, with sales exceeding 10 million copies. The second game achieved a similar score, with a rating of 78/100.

TLDR: Cameron Monaghan, the voice actor for Cal Kestis, has confirmed his involvement in the upcoming Star Wars Jedi Part 3. Stig Asmussen’s departure from Respawn Entertainment leaves the director position for Part 3 uncertain. Despite this, both previous Star Wars Jedi games have been commercial and critical successes.
