Steam Deck OLED Model: Valve releases Windows drivers for enhanced performance

Valve released the Windows drivers for the Steam Deck LCD version in 2022. Following that, they introduced the Windows drivers for the Steam Deck OLED version towards the end of 2023.

The drivers released include the APU, SD card reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and audio, but with some limitations. For example, the Bluetooth driver only supports speakers and does not yet support microphones. Additionally, the audio driver only supports headphones or Bluetooth and cannot output sound through the speakers.

This driver release now allows both versions of the Steam Deck, LCD and OLED, to fully function with Windows. However, players are required to choose only one operating system and dual booting is not possible.

TLDR: Valve released Windows drivers for both the LCD and OLED versions of the Steam Deck, enabling full functionality with Windows but requiring players to choose a single operating system due to the inability to dual boot.
