Databricks has announced a 5-year collaboration with Anthropic to bring Anthropic’s artificial intelligence models to the Data Intelligence Platform, benefitting organizations with over 10,000 users. These users will have access to the Claude model family to create custom chatbots and AI agents tailored to their organizational data.
According to Databricks, organizations are increasingly investing in AI but face challenges in building and deploying AI agents that can learn and understand data at the organizational level, while providing accurate responses as needed. This includes data security, access management, and compliance requirements. The collaboration between Databricks and Anthropic aims to address these needs.
One example of a customer testing this collaboration is fintech company Block, an existing Databricks customer. Block can now efficiently utilize the latest Claude models for various purposes.
