Spotify has unveiled new statistics following Taylor Swift’s release of her latest album “The Tortured Poets Department” (Poets) on the platform. This album marks a milestone as the first to be streamed over 200 million times in a single day.

Furthermore, Spotify has summarized another set of new statistics revealing that Poets was streamed over 300 million times in just one day. In addition to breaking records, the single “Fortnight” from the Poets album also achieved the highest number of streams in a single day, surpassing the previous record held by Adele’s “Easy on Me” in 2021.
