Tesla released production numbers for the third quarter of 2024 last Wednesday. The total number of cars produced was 469,796 units, with the majority being Model 3 and Model Y totaling 443,668 units. Out of these, 462,890 cars were delivered to customers.
These figures show an increase compared to the same quarter last year, although the number of deliveries is slightly lower by around 300 units when compared to the previous quarter of 2/2024.
Tesla will report its financial performance along with revenue and profit figures on October 23rd. Additionally, the company is preparing for a press event next week, where it is expected to unveil Robotaxi or driverless taxi services.
