The association has identified the critical issue of access to funding based on a survey of member companies. In addition to establishing the startup database to make it easier for investors to search for company information, the association is also providing reverse information. This includes mapping out private sector funding (VC Mapping) and public sector funding (Grant Map, which could be in the form of cash grants or other benefits) to help startups better understand the perspective of fund providers and know which agencies are suitable for their business models. These maps will be made available on the association’s website in the near future.
