AWS plans to adapt to Thailand’s increasing adoption of artificial intelligence, with IDC data indicating that organizations in Thailand are projected to allocate around 2 billion baht to cloud services, accounting for approximately 12% of the total IT budget. This signifies that AWS still has over 80% opportunity in the shifting IT landscape towards cloud-based activities.

Furthermore, Frost & Sullivan data suggests that decision-makers are willing to collaborate with cloud service providers with established infrastructure in the country, explaining why AWS aims to invest 5 billion dollars in AWS Asia Pacific (Thailand) over a 15-year period.

AWS also highlights the growth potential of the Generative AI market in Thailand, forecasting a CAGR of 41.5% until 2030. By 2025, organizations in Thailand are expected to embrace Generative AI, following its introduction in 2023, with comprehensive services in this aspect.
