Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is the sequel to Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves, which was originally released in 1999. The game was teased last year with an official gameplay trailer, unveiling five characters including the return of Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Hotaru Futaba, Tizoc, and Preecha – who besides being Thai, also sports Muay Thai shorts and uses a storm-like Muay Thai style reminiscent of Joe Hisashi.
The game features a new system called the Rev System, which includes Rev Guard, Rev Blow, Rev Arts, and Rev Accel, allowing players to string together continuous combos and perform visually stunning moves.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has not specified which platforms it will be released on, but the trailer hints at a release in early 2025. The game is developed using the Unreal Engine, similar to SNK’s recent titles like Samurai Shodown and The King of Fighters XV.
One of the new characters is Preecha, a Thai boxer.
