Last week, several data center companies in Thailand signed an agreement to establish the Thailand Data Centre Council (TDCC). The founding members include Ems Data Center (Thailand) Co., Ltd, Evolusion DC (Thailand) Co., Ltd, NTT Global Data Centers (Thailand) Co., Ltd, ST Telemedia Global Data Center (Thailand) and T.H. Telehouse (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
The objectives of the association are as follows:
1. Acting as representatives of the data center industry: collaborating to drive competition in relevant industries and sectors.
2. Providing legal consultation and regulatory support: offering advice, identifying challenges, and proposing various legal and regulatory solutions pertaining to the industry for appropriate government agencies.
3. Expanding international business: supporting and promoting member businesses in expanding their capabilities and raising competitiveness to a global level.
4. Professional development: fostering professional growth of data center operators and personnel in the digital industry, ensuring alignment with international standards.
5. Providing ethical consultation and support: collaborating with both public and private entities to support ethical business practices within Thailand’s data center industry, presenting best practice guidelines in line with international standards.
6. Industry development: conducting supplementary activities to support the development of Thailand’s data center industry or projects assigned by relevant government agencies.
