Adam Kiciński, the Chief Strategy Officer of CD Projekt, recently gave an interview to Parkiet, a Polish stock market news agency, expressing his contentment with the company’s current state and their lack of interest in merging with larger organizations. In the midst of the news about big game companies acquiring smaller studios in the past 1-2 years, Adam believes that CD Projekt will grow even bigger and stronger in the coming years.
Currently, CD Projekt continues to expand its business, particularly in North America, with the establishment of CD Projekt Red North America, which incorporates teams from studios in Vancouver, along with a new studio being developed in Boston. These teams will collaborate with CD Projekt Red in Poland, focusing primarily on the development of the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 expansion codenamed Orion.
Another studio owned by CD Projekt is The Molasses Flood, currently working on a multiplayer version of The Witcher, known as Sirius.
